Grandad surveying the damage.
To be continued.
Will there be a happy ending?

What did I tell you?

"I think they misjudged the height of their ceiling!"

"I give to you the Griswold Family Chirstmas Tree"!

"I give to you The Griswold Family Christmas Tree"!

Now begins the saga of "The Griswold Family Chirstmas Tree"!
First to get it home. Josiah's driving, Grandad's sawing, and Josh Shinn is helping, as Dennis never sees the light of day except through the Post Office windows.

Back at the beginning of November we went and tagged the "perfect"
Christmas Tree!
Do you think it will fit?

This is for Jessi - Birch trees from home!

I thought I'd share with you all, what I see on my daily walks to the park and back with my wonderful friends and neighbors, Linda & Paula. I never get tired of looking at the river and it's ever changing landscape, and the fall color this year has been spectacular!

Our favorites of our trip to Virginia wouldn't be complete of course
without a picture of the Capitol!
Watch for more Favorites From Virginia.
Another view of St. Peter's Catholic Church from Jefferson's Rock
Josiah actually took this picture
This is St. Peter's Catholic Church in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia.
It was spared by both sides during the Civil War because it remained neutral.
It was actually used as a hospital for the wounded.
This is the Old City Hall in Richmond, VA
This is one of many favorite pictures from our trip.

This picture is one of my favorites taken during our trip back to Virginia in October. It is in the Bishop's Garden at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. Since Carissa couldn't come this trip, you'll just have to imagine her between Josiah and Jeremiah. It was so good to get to spend time with Drew & Jess on their turf. Jessi is the best tour guide ever!!
