NEWS FLASH! SNOW AGAIN TODAY!

Even eyesores become works of art in the snow!Nandina berries dripping with melting snow.
Looks a little drafty. Maybe they should invest in a storm door!
Good old Mt. Pisgah, always beautiful, but especially so with a fresh coat of snow!
Oscar is even enjoying the white stuff!
Moses is looking for a drink in his favorite watering hole, but all it is is slush! (Check the link to Cat's Cradle for more pictures of Moses enjoying the snow.)
Now, just imagine instead of white, hot pink! In just a few short weeks the peach tree will be in bloom. Yes, as much as I love the snow, I'm ready for Spring!!

SNOW AGAIN THIS MORNING!

A view of the snow this morning in our reflecting pond! It may be just an old stock tank to collect rainwater from our porch roof, but it works great!
This is Moses traipsing through my new iris bed on his way to greet me this morning. Then he saw the birds...He loves birds as much as he loves snow! Thankfully he doesn't do much more than watch them. We provided them with a lot of low hanging shrubs close by their feeder so they can quickly escape and hide if need be!

OH BEAUTIFUL FOR SPACIOUS SKYS...

Josiah took the first 3 pictures the morning of February 4th. I took the rainbow picture just a few minutes ago out the upstairs family room window. I was doing some gardening when I got chased inside by a sudden downpour!

SUNRISE, SUNSET

Sunrise over Mount Jefferson February 4th.
We capture mostly sunrises over Mt. Jefferson, but this particular day (February 9th), Josiah happened to look out and there was Mt. Jefferson like a big, pink, ice cream cone! So he grabbed the camera and...walla!

SHEBA GETS HER PICTURE IN THE PAPER!

Our Sheba is now famous! This picture was printed in the February 2nd edition of the Statesman Journal in the Pet Click section. Go to the Cats Cradle link to see more of the things she gets herself into!
